Both group and individual sessions are designed to help you incorporate narrative therapy into your private practice. Narrative therapy is a strengths based approach that encourages the externalization of client's problems and treats them as though they are the experts in their own lives.

Narrative consultation works from a deeply respectful place -- one of our rules is that we always speak about a client as though they are in the room. There is no flippant use of diagnosis nor othering moments that can often feel uncomfortable in some therapist consultation groups. We believe in "professional closeness" rather than "professional distance."

Julia offers guidance to therapists and coaches looking to incorporate this technique into their practice on a sliding scale.
